"The signs kept causing confusion"
I was there with my class, and a few of the signs just didn’t seem right or were pointing us the wrong way. It ended up confusing everyone more than once. When I asked about it, it kind of felt like it got brushed off as a policy thing, which was frustrating because we were just trying to figure out where to go.

"It was annoying. The site..."
It was annoying. The site kept glitching right when I was trying to use it, and the search just wasn’t working the way it should. I ended up feeling irritated more than helped.

"Support never really got back to me"
I tried contacting Signing Savvy support because I was having an issue with my account, but I never got a real answer back.
I waited a few days and even sent another message, but still didn’t get anything useful. it kind of felt like nobody was checking the support inbox, or they just weren’t too worried about helping.
The site itself might work fine for some things, but if you actually need help, it gets frustrating fast. Overall, not a great experience for me.

"Helpful membership, though it has a few gaps"
I’ve found the membership useful overall, especially for saving word lists and getting access to the extra videos. For me, those features make it easier to keep track of what I’m learning. That said, I still run into missing signs here and there, which can be a little frustrating. I’d say it’s worth having, but it doesn’t quite feel amazing yet.

"They really dropped the ball on facial expressions"
I used signingsavvy to learn signs, and sure, it’s decent enough if you just need basic vocabulary. But i’m frustrated with how little help they give with facial expressions. That’s not some tiny extra detail in signing, it can completely change the meaning. A lot of the videos just show the sign and leave you guessing about the face, which feels like a big miss on their part. I ended up having to search other places just to understand questions, emotions, and the stuff they should’ve explained better. It’s not totally useless, but they really need to take responsibility for how incomplete it feels.

"Practice tool feels a bit lacking"
I don’t think I’m being unreasonable here, but the practice tool just wasn’t that helpful for me. I was expecting it to give me a bit more guidance or useful practice, and it kind of fell short.

"Too Many Ads"
I was trying to use the app and check the signs, but ads kept popping up every few seconds. At first I thought, okay, whatever, maybe it’s just a couple. Nope. It got irritating really fast and kind of ruined the whole experience.

"Teacher support was really disappointing"
I needed help with my class, and umm, the teacher support was bad. They barely replied, and when they finally did, the responses were short and didn’t really help me at all. It was frustrating enough that I don’t think I’d use it again
"I tried using it to practice fingerspelling, but..."
I tried using it to practice fingerspelling, but it didn’t really help. I already had a feeling the support for fingerspelling was going to be weak, and after using it, that pretty much confirmed it for me. It was hard to follow, and there just weren’t enough clear examples to make it useful. Frustrating overall.

"I signed up thinking there’d be a steady..."
I signed up thinking there’d be a steady flow of fresh signs, and to be fair, the idea behind it is great. It’s just kind of impressive how little it seems to change over time. A lot of the content feels outdated or like it’s missing, so I slowly stopped checking it. Not the worst thing ever, but definitely disappointing.

"Search only works when it feels like it"
I’ve had frustrating time with the search. Even when I type in exact words from the sign, it still doesn’t show up half the time. Makes it way harder to find what I need than it should be.

"The dictionary feels limited"
I’m not trying to be overly picky, but I was looking up a bunch of normal everyday signs and kept getting no results. And when something did show up, it sometimes only had one version with barely any context. For something that’s supposed to be a sign dictionary, I expected it to be more complete. It’s just frustrating when you’re trying to get quick help and the info isn’t there.

"Pretty helpful for getting through my class"
I’ve been using Signing Savvy for one of my classes, it’s been helpful so far. When I’m working on homework or trying to remember a specific sign, I can usually find what I need without having to dig around forever, which is really nice. The videos load fine for me and make it a lot easier to actually see how the signs are supposed to look instead of just guessing from a description. Some parts of the site do feel a little dated, like it could use a refresh here and there, but it still does what I need it to do. Overall, it’s been a useful resource for practicing and learning on my own outside of class

"I probably should’ve looked closer at the billing"
I got charged before I really understood how the plan worked. Maybe I rushed through the details or missed the fine print, but the billing wasn’t very clear to me upfront.
"Not worth paying for every month"
I’m disappointed with this. For the monthly price, I expected a lot more value, but it just doesn’t feel like you get enough to justify the cost. I’ve tried to give it a fair chance, but at this point I feel like the pricing is way out of line with what’s actually offered. I’d really like someone from the company to look into this because it feels like customers are being overcharged for a limited experience

"I’ve been using Signing Savvy here and..."
I’ve been using Signing Savvy here and there, and overall I do think it’s helpful, especially when I need to quickly look up a sign for a word I don’t know or can’t remember. The videos are clear enough to follow, and I like that I can just search a word and usually find what I’m looking for without digging around too much. That part is really convenient. That said, I don’t think it’s quite enough on its own if you’re trying to actually learn ASL in a more complete way. For me, it works better as a reference tool than as a full learning program. I can watch a sign and understand it in the moment, but remembering it later or knowing how to use it naturally in conversation is a different thing. I feel like you’d still need a class, a teacher, or at least someone to practice with if you really want it to stick. So I’d say it’s great for quick reminders and picking up individual signs, but not something I’d depend on as my only way to learn

"Useful, but kind of tiring to use"
There’s definitely helpful information on the site, but i got tired quickly trying to find my way around. It felt like I had to click through too many pages just to get to what I needed, and a few sections looked a little outdated or confusing. It works fine once you figure it out, but the whole experience could be a lot smoother and less draining.
"Pretty helpful, just not enough"
I used it for a bit it helped. Like, it did what I needed in the moment. But then I kept running into little limits. Nothing terrible, just... I wanted more. More options, maybe more depth. Good overall, but it feels a bit unfinished.

"Come on now, where are the regional signs?"
I was hoping to see more local sign variations, but there just aren’t enough included. Come on now, if you’re covering signs, the regional differences are kind of a big deal.

"I mostly use Signing Savvy for the..."
I mostly use Signing Savvy for the word lists, and they’ve been really easy to save and come back to later. It’s nice when I’m working on certain signs for class and just want everything in one place, you know?
I’m giving it 4 stars because a few of the lists feel a little basic, and I do wish the sorting was smoother. But overall it’s still useful and does what I need it to do.
